Enclosed please find signed copies of the Guaranteed Suburban Brakeman Extra Board Agreement and the Personal Leave Days for Suburban Service Agreement. 

It was mutually agreed that both agreements would take effect April 1, 2003. If you require any assistance implementing either agreement, please do not hesitate to contact me.

*PERSONAL LEAVE AGREEMENT FOR SUBURBAN EMPLOYEES*

Memorandum of Agreement

Between

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway

and

United Transportation Union 

 

The purpose of this Agreement is to provide for personal leave days for all brakemen and conductors working in suburban passenger service at Aurora, Illinois. 

1.   It is herein agreed that brakemen and conductors in Suburban Service will be provided personal leave days in the same manner as that prescribed in Article 20 of the 1980 Crew Consist Agreement and Article IV of the OPS54A-84. 

2.   It is herein agreed the Carrier will no longer be required to provide a two (2) hour advanced wake up call for conductors and brakemen on assigned Suburban Service assignments going on duty between the hours of 11 p.m. and 8 a.m.

Signed this 13th day of March, 2003, and effective on April 1, 2003.
